Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the developer identified as the provider of Watchlist AI on the marketplace where you obtained the app (“Watchlist AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of the Watchlist AI app, website, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

What Watchlist AI provides

Watchlist AI lets you describe information you want to monitor, schedule recurring searches, and receive generated summaries and links to public web sources. Features, search limits, schedules, supported platforms, and plan availability may change over time. We may provide beta or preview features that are less reliable and may be changed or removed.

Your account

The Service may create an anonymous account before you choose a permanent sign-in method. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, credentials, and account and for activity conducted through them. Provide accurate information, do not share passwords with us, and notify us through the Support page if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your watches and permission to process them

You keep any rights you have in the watch descriptions and other content you submit (“User Content”). You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process, adapt, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service. This includes sending search requests and relevant source material to the providers described in our Privacy Policy. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, logs, legal records, and processing already required by law.

You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that doing so will not violate law or another person’s rights.

AI results and external sources

Results are generated using automated search and artificial intelligence. They may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, duplicated, unavailable, or inappropriate for your purpose. A source link or summary does not mean Watchlist AI endorses the source or has verified every claim.

You are responsible for reviewing original sources and independently verifying important information before acting on it. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Some features require a paid subscription. The plan, billing period, price, currency, trial terms, and included features shown at purchase are part of these Terms. Payments are processed by Apple, Google Play, or another marketplace, not directly by Watchlist AI.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period shown at purchase unless you cancel through your marketplace account before renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period, subject to marketplace rules and applicable law. Deleting Watchlist AI or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account and restore an eligible purchase from the plan screen. Refunds, billing disputes, payment failures, price-change notices, and cancellation rights are handled under the marketplace’s rules and applicable law. We will not reduce a prepaid plan’s core paid access during its current billing period except where needed for security, law, third-party service changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and any applicable marketplace license, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

App marketplace terms

If you obtained the app through Apple or Google, their app-store, payment, subscription, refund, and end-user license terms also apply. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app unless a valid custom license is presented by Apple. If these Terms conflict with mandatory marketplace terms, the mandatory marketplace terms control for that issue.

Changes, interruptions, and termination

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue all or part of the Service. We do not guarantee that every scheduled watch, notification, source, or feature will always be available or run at an exact time. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice of a material change that adversely affects paid users.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described on our account-deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay for a paid feature, or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results will be accurate or complete. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watchlist AI and its developer, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US $100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including certain liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

Applicable law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available where you live. Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Before filing a formal claim, you and Watchlist AI agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue through the contact method on our Support page, unless law allows you to proceed directly.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a material change applies to an existing paid period, it will apply only to the extent permitted by law. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

Contact us

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through Watchlist AI Support using the developer contact method identified there and on the app marketplace listing.
